Younger versions of yourself are easy to romanticize because you already know how that chapter turned out. Looking at who you are right now is harder because you are still standing in the middle of it.

Well, a camera sees a lot more than that.

It will catch the way you move, the way you hold yourself, the expression on your face when you actually just breathe. The softness, the confidence, the personality, and all the little things that get lost when you unfortunately reduce yourself to either a number on the scale or try to compare today to a picture from ten years ago.

That is what I want women to walk away with after boudoir. Not proof that you somehow became yourself again, but proof of the woman who came next.
